HACFO MISSIONS
The Missions of the Hausa Christians Foundation (HACFO) focus on uniting the Body of Christ in the Hausa Land, Bringing a powerful and lasting Revival of the Church in the Hausa Land, Perfecting the saints and winning more souls for Christ. We achieve this through Mission conferences, Mission outreaches, Mission Training and Missionary Services and Christian Literatures and Publications.
This Arm, under the leadership of the Holy Spirit, is to guide the work of the Hausa Christians Foundation (HACFO) through planning, coordinating, and evaluating all programs and related ministries; to help carry out of the objectives of the Ministry; and to supervise the work of the associational staff of the Missions Division of the Hausa Christians Foundation.
Primary Assignment
The Missions Director will be responsible for the following:

Schools Educational Programs:
Guide all missions related activities and shepherd program development goals.
Oversee local outreach (e.g. social justice) opportunities. -
Communication:
Disciple future leaders in mission projects, local cross-cultural outreach and social justice opportunities.
Advocate for the mission strategy and goals. -
Education and Training:
Keep apprised of current status of global mission efforts, along with mission efforts in the Christian community (e.g. local churches).
Create a curriculum that highlights missional needs throughout the Hausa Land to unreached
People groups.
Prepare mission leaders considering service in long term missions. -
Missionary Partnerships:
Identify long-term missionary and missionary organization partnerships.
Create a missionary care strategy (e.g. “Adopt a Missionary,” missionary care visits, etc.).

Administration:
Manage partnerships with mission organizations that share the same vision as HACFO.
Maintain a database of all mission events and project participants.
Review, prepare and present an annual budget to HACFO.
Oversee and handle missions financial disbursements based on the approved budget.
Be willing to participate in a domestic or international short term project annually. -
General:
Collaborate with other Divisional Directors to carry out the overall vision of HACFO.
Serve and support the mission of Christ through HACFO.
Comply with the HACFO’s Code of Conduct.
Abide to HACFO’s Article of Faith and core values as defined in the constitution.
Participate in staff prayer and devotional meetings
Other Responsibilities
- Lead in planning, evaluating, and implementing the total program of the HACFO Missions activities.
- Lead in development and implementation of a comprehensive mission strategy.
- Lead in planning a coordinated calendar of activities in consultation with all Divisional leadership.
- Supervise in the planning and disbursement of Missions budget and any other financial considerations.
- Assist in the promotion of all meetings, rallies, conferences, mission trips, and camps sponsored by HACFO.
- As a resource person, coordinate the use and sharing of resources among missionaries and mission fields as requested.
- Network churches and pastors as appropriate for fellowship, ministry cooperation, and encouragement.
- Supervise, coordinate, and evaluate the work of all HACFO’s missions staff.
- Recommend new staff members and new staff positions to the Oppressions Team and HACFO’s Board of Directors.
- Interpret, promote, and communicate the program of our state and national Conferences and outreaches HACFO.
- Strengthen relationships among churches. Encourage the association to be a family of churches or a network through which churches mutually give and receive assistance, foster fellowship and mutual commitments among.
- Churches of the association, lead churches to develop a sufficient degree of unity in faith and practice to enhance their fellowship and working together; and create an environment in which churches want to be on mission together.
- Provide missionary leadership. Lead the entire mission centers of HACFO to develop and maintain a missions perspective; instigate or start new work; establish points of witness; involve all program organizations in missions work; interpret to the HACFO the needs of people in the Ministry’s territory for evangelism, ministry, or missions attention; lead in enlisting, placing, training, and supervising volunteers in missions, and in developing missions strategy for the association.
- Maintain interdenominational and other external relationships. Relate as appropriate to other Ministries, state Conferences and outreaches, other mission bodies and other denominations or religious bodies; business, social, educational and welfare agencies; and city, state and national governments.
- Give general leadership in all aspects of oppressions of the HACFO’s Mission Division; establish priorities for allocating time, money and other resources; administer processes such as planning, organizing, communicating, training, and evaluating.
