HACFO MEDIA
Through media, the Hausa Christians Foundation reaches a wider audience with the Gospel of Christ, and effectively enlighten the world on our programs. Our media comprises of units like Information Technology, Audio-Visuals, Info-graphics, and Publishing of edifying Christian literatures.
The ultimate goal of the Media Division is to become a Radio and TV Station for the reaching to the Entire Northern Nigeria in Word, Music and Films
Offices under the Media Division of the Hausa Christians Foundation (HACFO) are:

PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The Media Director is a full time position that is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the media Division of HACFO, including budget, personnel, equipment acquisition and maintenance, as well as operational oversight over the following areas: Audio, Video, IT, Lighting, Graphics, Resources, and A/V Systems for HACFO Studio and all her programs. Supervises Media Staff and volunteers.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide budgetary and operational oversight of the Media Division and maintain a responsible budget to support the technical needs of HACFO and its operations.
- Oversight of all technical media systems on the HACFO Mission House, including maintenance, vendor relations, specifications, and installation of new equipment
- Regular maintenance and cleaning of all A/V equipment, including projectors, TV carts, portable equipment, amplifier and dimmer filters, Media computers, consoles, etc.
- Supervision of media Division staff.
- Recruiting, training, developing and scheduling media Division volunteers
- Coordinate mailings and distribution of monthly volunteer schedules.
- Provide leadership and organizational development to the areas of Video, Audio, IT Lighting, Staging, Resources, Communications, Tech Services, and Network Administration.
- Work with Conference and Outreach Planning team in the development of the programs services and events.
- Provide technical support (equipment and operators) for all scheduled HACFO functions as required.
- Management of HACFO Events stage, including setup and tear-down of sound, lighting, platforms, musical instruments, and other equipment per event.
- Continued enhancement in the quality of audio recordings through proper training of volunteers and the use of multi-tracking and computer-based editing equipment
- Management of ministry and events calendar, correspondence, file management.
- Provide timely responses to all media and special order purchases, phone, email, mail, bookstore.
- Edit broadcasts and lay down closed captioning as required
- Archive past tapes and/or DVDs in an organized, documented manner.
- Oversight for recording and duplication of all conferences and events at Connection Point
- Work with the Print Shop to create unique and creative sets and backdrops to enhance the HACFO Events
- Purchase, inventory, and maintenance of video equipment
- Work with Graphic head to provide consistency in content from video to print promotions.
- Maintain and organize stock content media libraries, including video clips, audio beds, and sound effects.
- Export and upload edited files to our cloud server for staff use.
- Manage, create and format graphics for weekly podcasts and monthly newsletters.
- Provide creative direction and productions for all special events in areas such as advertisement, website, event branding, etc.
- Plan, shoot, edit, and distribute short-form video productions for use in special events and website content.
