HACFO EDUCATION & EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMS
The Hausa Christians Foundation (HACFO) believes in the power of education as a vital tool for the total development of humanity. We encourage our people to be properly educated, skilfully and economically empowered, and mentally liberated through our Schools Educational Programs and Outreaches, Empowerment Programs, Christian Religious Knowledge Support Programs, Enlightenment Programs and Research, History and Documentation.
The of HACFO’s Education and Empowerment Program Division oversees and directs all aspects of circular and Christian Education for adults, youths and children, and manages the development and growth of the Education and Empowerment Program Division of HACFO.
This office covers all the educational (Schools programs and outreaches, Enlightenment Programs, Schools projects and Outreaches etc.) and empowerment (Social interventions, Skills Acquisition, Grants, Agricultural Intervention Programs, Giving of Aids and relief items etc.) programs of the Hausa Christians Foundation.
Offices under the Education and Empowerment Program Division of the Hausa Christians Foundation include:

The main goal is to bring about positive transformation and development in the mental and socioeconomic wellbeing of the Hausa Christians thereby attaining to a better lifestyle with improved productivity in a more dignified, secured and safe environment.
This division shall successfully plan and execute these major programs annually:
- Teachers Empowerment Summit
- Economic and Leadership Summit
- Schools Educational Outreach
- Social and Relief Intervention Programs and Outreaches
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement educational and empowerment programs strategy plan in conjunction with other Directors in line to support the vision and mandate of HACFO within and outside Nigeria.
- Identify communities and individuals in need of social intervention and empowerment as well as educational supports and recommend to HACFO on the right step to take.
- See to the establishment of Schools and promotion of education throughout the Hausa Christians communities and beyond that aimed at mental liberation of the Hausa People Group
- Continuously identify and organize enlightenment and sensitization campaigns across the Hausa land that aimed at addressing societal challenges and threats to the livelihood of our people.
- Promote and maintain cooperation between HACFO and Christian Schools in the Hausa land.
- Schedule, oversee planning and execution of regular meetings or events of the Division
- Maintain connection with Christian Schools in the Hausa Land.
- Coordinate creative programs and community outreach.
- Plan and implement new programs targeted to mental and spiritual growth and development of our people.
- Proper administrative processes and procedures of the Division
- See to the promotion and proper support of CRK programs across all schools where Christians are found in the Hausa land and Northern Nigeria.
- Identify the necessary areas and subjects and carryout proper research and documentations across the Hausaland with the intention of exposing falsehood, bringing the right knowledge and setting the narratives straight especially on the true history of the Hausa People group and Hausa Christians.
- Recruit with the Lead Minister’s approval all vacant offices, state coordinators and volunteers.
